Having visited Quinta Da Comenda, a thousand-year-old gem tucked away in the picturesque countryside, I cannot help but appreciate the blend of history and modern comfort this place offers. the vintage furniture, unique decor items, and the warmth of the hosts Angelo and Manuela create a truly authentic experience. the breakfast, featuring homemade organic delights, served in an ancient stone building by a blazing fire, was a delightful start to the day. The property boasts a seasonal outdoor pool with a mesmerizing view and a shared kitchen for those inclined to whip up a meal. the spacious rooms exude charm and offer a glimpse into the past while providing all essential amenities. While the ambiance and hospitality are top-notch, the absence of certain luxuries like a fitness center or spa might deter some seeking a more indulgent stay.
